Debenhams UX Case Study

This is a case study of Debenhams’ e-commerce user experience (UX) performance. It’s based on an exhaustive performance review of 502 design elements. 250 other sites have also been benchmarked for a complete picture of the e-commerce UX landscape.

Debenhams’ overall e-commerce UX performance is poor. Debenhams’ UX performance in particular suffers from usability issues caused by poor Mobile Web and mediocre Desktop Web.

First benchmarked in September 2016, and reviewed 19 times since then, most recently in January 2024.
